Great Vets and Staff at South Rhea
We moved new to this area and selected South Rhea as our vet about a year ago. We have received the most professional care and great kindness to our dogs. Dr.Nix has seen us on both routine and sudden calls as our Labs tend to eat things they should not. His willingness to share his own personal experiences with his pets has been insightful as well.
The costs for services here are comparable with what we were paying for a top notch vet in another state. We had a very bad experience with treatment of another pet by the vet north of Dayton and that underscored our selection of the South Rhea Animal as our vet of choice. I have taken my pets to South Rhea Animal Hospital for over 7 yrs and cannot express how grateful I am for the wonderful love and care that they have received each and every time I have walked through the door. The staff have welcomed me with a warm smile and my animals with a friendly scratch behind the ear, and they have always demonstrated professionalism and compassion in each circumstance that I have encountered. I have personally witnessed each of the doctors as well as the staff give of their own time and money to help rescues, humane societies, and every stray they find along the way. This group gives loving of themselves on a daily basis---I am truly grateful for the medical excellence that South Rhea offers----we are fortunate to have such expertise in a small rural community!
